Piano Window
As you enter our lobby, the first sight that greets you is our beautiful Ward-Gold piano window.
Steve Jellen Library
The Steve S. Jellen library is also housed in the main entrance lobby.
Boardroom
A roomy boardroom is in a quiet corner of the building and seats 14 at the table with plenty of space for visitor chairs. It is used for meetings and classes.
Workroom
The staff workroom houses our office equipment and supplies. It was designed to provide not only ample storage, but also plenty of room to do special projects. There is also a separate mail room.
Break Room
A spacious breakroom serves staff, students, and meeting attendees. Outside groups holding events have plenty of food preparation space.
Gazebo
A gazebo and deck built by previous occupants provides a place to eat and relax outside during breaks.
Store
A former computer training area was turned into the PTG Store. It not only provides space for shipping and receiving of merchandise, but also allows us to display PTG products in a retail store environment.
Pearl River Test Piano
A large commons area in front of the PTG Store houses a 7' grand piano used for classes and to give tuning exams. This model is on loan from Pearl River.
PTGF Museum
The PTGF museum is housed in over 2,200 square feet of space that can also double as a meeting room or recital hall. Here you can view unique keyboards, tools, electronic tuning devices, and historic documents. Work continues on development of displays.
Theater
A theater-style classroom seats 50 people comfortably and is an important feature of the new facility. Future plans including adding the technology to provide cutting-edge training programs. The local PTG chapter also holds their monthly meetings here.
Office
Part of the building also includes offices for current and future staff. One office has been set aside to use as an exam room.
Loading Dock
A large warehouse area provides space for storing convention supplies, merchandise, publications, and files. Future plans include development of a shop area for classes. A delivery dock makes it easy to load and unload shipments and convention materials.
Parking Lot
A separate after hours entrance with its own lobby allows us to close off the office area of the building and provide separate access to the theater and restrooms. There is also parking for 70 or more cars in our lot.
