Upright Piano Restoration Showcase Exhibit Hall B
Come see an upright piano resurrected before your very eyes. In this showcase you will see the piano restrung, keys rebushed, keys recovered, the dampers replaced, hammers and butts replaced, and new pedals installed. The piano will then be completely tuned and regulated. Ex-Institute Directors Wally Brooks, Ben McKlveen, Gary Neie, and others will restore this upright in time for it to be used in the Chapel services Sunday Morning. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will take place each day of the Kansas City PTG Convention.
Piano Technicians Guild Foundation Booth Silent Auction
Stop by the PTGF booth in the exhibit hall to view the wide variety of items (some useful, some fun) and place your bid. It's not too late to make a donation to the auction. Click here for a downloadable form.
