The Intentional
Technician
Reach beyond your
vision of capability!
The Institute Director’s Perspective:
This year’s Institute is designed to raise the bar by providing you
with a forum to gain new skills, network, rejuvenate, and revitalize.
We’ll introduce you to ways that you can develop and expand the goals
and objectives of your individual businesses.
To do this, we’ve created an educational platform that encourages you to think about your business in a different, more intentional way. "The Intentional Technician" is one who runs their business with a plan, on paper, with purpose.
Established as a tuner’s organization, PTG has grown to incorporate much more than the piano tuner. It is a technician’s organization that embraces all who work with pianos: tuners, technicians with specialized skills, rebuilders, and those in allied trades. We’ll celebrate these many different areas of technical ability within the piano industry in one all-inclusive Institute.
Institute 2008 will provide multi-level learning for all attendees from Associate to RPT and beyond.
We've planned our schedule to allow you to attend classes grouped together with specific focuses. These areas include tuning, regulation, rebuilding, voicing and concert prep, and business. Or, you can choose to focus on classes that will move you from Associate
to RPT status.
Make plans now to join us as we emphasize "The Intentional Technician." and have you reaching beyond your vision of capability. It’s not too early to start creating your “intentional schedule.” Watch the convention web page, Piano Technicians Journal, and your mailbox for more about Institute 2008.
